This group provides an opportunity for school-age boys and girls to participate in the Worship service on a regular basis. These youngsters serve as ushers on the third Sunday of each month. The goal is to help them develop a habit of helping with the work of the church while there are young. We want children to experience the fulfillment of serving and to understand that service is a big part of their spiritual growth. All young people are welcome and needed. Practices are scheduled periodically throughout the year with prior notice.
St. John’s has a strict policy before persons are allowed to work with children, youth and seniors. This includes a background check, screening and monitoring those having contact with children and youth.
